Kennewick Casino Closes Unexpectedly
A Kennewick casino unexpectedly locks its doors this afternoon - leaving employees outside wondering if they still have a job.
The doors are locked and there is a chain on the inside of the door that employees say wasn't there yesterday.
A sign on both the main doors reads closed due to loss of lease.
Employees I spoke with today were told nothing as they showed up for their shift- and were not even allowed to go inside.
One employee says he worked last night and everything seemed like business as usual.
There is a sign on the door stating that if customers need to cash in chips they need to do so at the companys headquarters in Longview, Washington.
We tried to contact the owners of the casino and they were not available to comment.
The managers of the property Washington Securities and Investment company did not return our calls either.
