UPDATE: Toppenish Boy Dies Following Shooting

A 15-year-old Toppenish boy has died after being shot in the head last night during what police are calling a gang related shooting.
The victim, Jose Rodriguez of Buena died this morning at a Seattle hospital.
According to detectives, Rodriguez and two other boys were walking on the 800 block of Madison Avenue when they were approached by four people in a white pickup all dressed in red.
One of the suspects shot Rodriguez at close range following an exchange of gang slurs.
The other teenage boys were able to escape the scene uninjured.
Police found Rodriguez on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head.
Rodriguez was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle following the shooting.
Detectives say they have developed a person of interest, who is being sought for questioning about his involvement in the incident.
