Stanton Academy Dedication Held

About a hundred people gathered tonight for the dedication of the new Stanton Academy in Yakima.
The 49,000 squarefoot alternative high school is built to house about 350 students, and features state of the art security systems.
Plans to build a new Stanton Academy were made after the old school was deemed too old, crowded, and unable to keep up with current technology.
The school cost 12.6 million dollars to build.
