Helicopter Drops Hundreds Of Golf Balls For Cash

Dozens of children and their parents gather at the Suntides Golf Course in Yakima to watch a helicopter drop hundreds of golf balls from the sky.
It's part of the First Tee of Yakima's third annual All Day Golf Event and Appreciation Day.
People were given the chance to purchase a numbered golf ball for 10 dollars, which would be dropped from a helicopter onto a designated green.
The ball closest to the hole wins $1,000.
This year's winner was Charlie Eglin of Yakima.
