Woman Assaults In Law Oustide Funeral Home Pleads Guilty

A woman suspected of attempting to cut the throat of her in law pleads guilty to a lesser charge.
69 year old Dalores Taylor attempted to cut the throat of her granddaughters 21 year old husband outside a Moxee funeral home in April.
Taylor pled guilty to second degree assault. Prosecutors say her sentencing range is 3-9 months, but both sides will jointly recommend 6 months to be served on electronic home monitoring.
The prosecution says the victim in the case has indicated that this would be a fair resolution. Ms. Taylor has no prior criminal history.
Sentencing is set for October 11.
