Michele Taylor hearing

Former East Valley High School teacher Michele Taylor has about a month to file an appeal on a one year suspension of her teaching certificate by the state superintendent's office.

Taylor has until October 6th to file an appeal for a judicial review.

The state superintendents office says the administrative law judge in the hearing clarified new language in the decision he made in August- therefore restarting Taylor's 30 day time frame to appeal his decision.

The state suspended her for unprofessional conduct after she was accused of sending hundreds of texts to two students.

She was also found not guilty of criminal sexual misconduct involving those two students.
