Fire Crews Mopping Up Yakama Reservation Fire
Fire crews are monitoring the scene of a weekend grass fire on the Yakama Reservation.
Multiple agencies responded to the fire on Fort Simcoe Road and Hawk Road. The fire broke out yesterday at Noon.
When crews arrived, winds were fanning the flames of the 700 acre fire.
Two out buildings were lost and one was damaged. An abandoned residence was also lost.
Officials say, the fire started at a burn pit, at the King Mountain Cigarette facility.
It was finally under control at 7:45PM last night.
