Yakima City Hall To Discuss Fourth Street Closure

Yakima City Council is holding a study session tomorrow to decide whether or not to close off a section of Fourth Street.
City Manager Tony O'Rourke is proposing to close off a section of the street behind the Capitol Theatre -- that will be used as a venue to host events and concerts, and should attract more people to the downtown Yakima area.
If the plans are approved, that portion of Fourth Street will be closed off at the beginning of January.
The study session will begin at 10 am tomorrow at Yakima City Hall.
