Corps of Engineers' Walla Walla District Supports Hurricane Response
Fifteen employees from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, are assisting in areas impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
The volunteer members will assist Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Emergency Operations Centers in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Those deployed represent a variety of career fields, including Maintenance Management Technician, Power Plant Electrician and Structural Engineer.
