Suspect in 2007 Sunnyside Murder Arrested in Mexico
The search for a man suspected of killing a Sunnyside woman five years ago is over as the suspect has been arrested in Mexico.
30-year-old Eric Flores was captured last Wednesday after allegedly killing 26-year-old Veronica Ayala in July of 2007.
Flores has already been charged with second degree murder in Ayala's death and will be tried on that charge, along with a charge of unlawful firearm possession, one he returns to Yakima County.
