Vehicle vandalized in potential hate crime, FBI investigating

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by the FBI for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the damage to and defacement of a vehicle with racial and religious epithets, in Chelan, Washington, earlier this month.

The FBI says the incident occurred between 5:30 and 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, near the intersection of W. Woodin Avenue and Waterslide Drive.

The matter is being investigated as a potential hate crime.
