Free Document Shredding & Prescription Drug Disposal Tomorrow
Looking to get rid of old documents containing sensitive personal information or unused or expired prescription medications?
Tomorrow, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Yakima County Crime Stoppers, along with C.I. Shred and Solarity Credit Union will offer two drop off sites in Yakima and in Sunnyside. The drop off sites are at Solarity Credit Union, 101 N. 5th Avenue in Yakima and at the Sunnyside Justice Center. Quantities are limited to two banker boxes or three shopping bags of personal items.
In regards to prescription drug disposal, there is no limit on prescription items, but they should be clearly separated from material being shredded.
There is no cost for these services, but Yakima County Crime Stoppers will be accepting donations to help fight crime.
