2 Face Charges For Counterfeit Air Bags
Two Yakima area men are facing federal charges in a Yakima counterfeight air bag investigation.
Jason Jordan and Salvador Martinez are accused of selling counterfeit air bags and air bag parts from china, after being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations.
Jordan and Martinez allegedly ordered the parts from overseas, assembled them at their auto shop in Moxee, then sell the goods on eBay, claiming they were genuine.
Court Documents say the two have sold almost 3,000 counterfeit airbogs on eBay since June of 2011.
Both men are charged with Conspiracy and several counts of Trafficking Counterfeit Goods.
Jordan will be in District Court tomorrow.
