Marching musicians prepare for competition in Pasco
Hundreds of musicians from across the Northwest are preparing to perform in Pasco tomorrow in the Mid-Columbia's largest marching band competition.
The 31st annual Cavalcade of Bands is tomorrow at Edgar Brown Stadium.
Today, members of the Kennewick High School Marching Band practiced their show for the competition.
23 bands from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana will take the field to perform tomorrow.
Band members say all their hard work pays off during their performances.
"Just hitting that high impact point and just having people just be like, whoa, look at that trumpet player, he just hit that D. Just like, yeah, that's me" said Isaac Organista, Kennewick High School musician.
The first band will step onto the field at 8:45 AM tomorrow.
The event will run all day.
