Sunnyside police arrest four people after finding two pounds of marijuana in a home.

Belore is a statement from the Sunnyside Police Department:

On Wednesday, at approximately 2:15 PM, Sunnyside Police Gang Unit received information that there was probable cause for Manuel Silva for Robbery.

Sunnyside Police Officers responded to the residence located in the 1000 block of Decatur Ave along with the Sunnyside Gang Unit and located Silva at the residence.

While taking Silva into custody, officers observed marijuana through out the residence.

All occupants were taken into custody and detained while the Gang Unit obtained a search warrant for the residence.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers searched the property and the residence.

During the search, officers located approximately two pounds of marijuana, scales, a large amount of property and a gun.

Officers also located a large amount of documents from various areas through out both Yakima and Benton Counties.

Upon further investigation, it was found that many of the documents and a large amount of the property were taken in two separate burglaries that had occurred in Benton approximately 3 hours earlier.

Sunnyside Officers are continuing to investigate leads that may lead to additional victims.

Police arrested 19 year-old Manuel Silva of Sunnyside, 27 year-old Sheena Tate of Granger, 37 year-old Starr McDaniel of Prosser, and 21 year-old Efrain Perez of Grandview.

The indivudals are being held on suspicion of Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Possession of stolen property 1st, Possession of stolen property 2nd, Unlawful possession of a firearm, and Conspiracy to commit identification theft.
