Prosser Community Shows Support for School Dress Code Changes
The results of a survey show community members in Prosser are in support of school uniforms or standardized attire for middle and high school students.
The Prosser School District made the survey available to the public through its website and paper copies placed around the community.
At Tuesday night's school board meeting, Dr. Ray Tolcacher, PSD Superintendent, presented the results of the survey to the board/
Dr. Tolcacher said a majority of people were in favor of standardized attire, and the board can now move forward on plans to implement the dress code changes.
Not all of the board members were at the meeting Tuesday night so no decision will be made until the next meeting on October 16th.
