Sewer pipe repair will cause intersection closure
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area around the intersection of 11th Avenue and Garrett Street in Yakima tomorrow while a project is undeway to repair a damaged section of a sewer line.
The intersection will be closed from 6 a.m. tomorrow until the repair work is completed. The project is expected to be finished by Friday, October 5th, at the latest.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers will be redirected around the closed work zone.
Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.
