Richland School Board approves final bond proposal
The Richland School Board unanimously approved a final $98 million bond proposal for the February ballot last night.
Board members decided Jefferson Elementary School will stay open as a K - 5 school.
The board also confirmed Lewis and Clark, Marcus Whitman, and Sacajawea Elementary schools will be replaced at a slightly smaller size than originally planned.
The money saved on that cutback will help fund a new facility for Three Rivers HomeLink, which is outgrowing its current building.
