Chimp Dies Unexpectedly
A chimpanzee who used American Sign Language to communicate died unexpectedly over the weekend.
The Central Washington University Chimposium says one of it's three signing chimps, Dar, died at the age of 36.
The animal died of unkown causes -- he was transported to Seattle today to have an autopsy performed.
The average life-span for a chimpanzee ranges between 40 and 45 years.
