Columbia Center Mall prepares for Black Friday rush
Retailers across our region are getting ready for the Black Friday rush.
At the Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick, employees are stocking shelves and organizing their stores.
This year, the mall is opening at midnight on Friday.
Employees expect the entire morning to be extremely busy.
"Deliveries have been made, all the stores are staffed and ready to go. There's such a thrill about Black Friday shopping, and everyone can't wait for the rush of midnight and then it comes again at 4, then maybe again at 6. It's very exciting" said Patricia Bardin, Columbia Center Mall.
This year, the mall will have security guards dressed up as "holiday helpers" to help shoppers carry bags and take items to their cars.
