Yakima Man Accidently Shoots Self in Foot
A 37 year old Yakima man accidentally shoots himself in the foot with a shotgun while inside a tent.
The man told police he had been drinking and using methamphetamine prior to Saturday's indicident on North 6th Street.
The convicted felon was taken to Yakima Memorial Hospital, then to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The case will be referred to the prosecutor's office for the change of unlawful possession of a firearm.
