Fire damages Wapato shop
A shop fire in Wapato causes $15,000 in damage last night.
Firefighters say just after 8:30 PM, a woman at her shop on Shields Road noticed some smoke coming from the building and called 911.
Earlier in the day, the woman was burning some materials at her shop, and investigators believe some of those materials landed in the area where the fire started.
The fire destroyed some of the items in the shop and damaged part of the building.
Nobody was injured.
