Union Gap Municipal Court will be back in session Monday, more than two weeks after toxic mold problems at city hall forced the relocation of court.

A temporary courtroom has been set up at an old fire station on Washington Avenue. The judge says the closure created a backlog of around 500 cases. The courts will have to handle 25 more cases per day, or open an extra day, until they're caught up.
