Tri-Cities wins Secure Cities Award
The Tri-Cities (Richland-Pasco-Kennewick) has once again won a prestigious award -- being named the most secure mid-size U.S. city by Farmers Insurance.
According to Farmers, this ranking is largely due to a high job growth rate and low housing depreciation and unemployment rate.
The rankings, compared numbers in 379 U.S. municipalities.
On May 15th, representatives with Farmers Insurance will formally recognize the City of Kennewick with this prestigious honor.
