Two Injured in Sunday Accident
Yakima police are investigating a weekend accident, that left two men with life threatening injuries.
Yesterday morning around 5AM, officers found the driver and passenger unconscious. Police determined that the vehicle had been racing another car and lost control on Sound 72nd Avenue.
The vehicle hit a fence, power pole and a parked car before coming to rest against a tree.
A 17 year old and a 33 year old man had to be taken to Yakima Regional Hospital. The driver was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
