Whooping Cough Vaccines Available Next Friday by Walla Walla Co. Health Dept.
Mark your calendar as the Walla Walla County Health Department will provide free Whooping Cough vaccine to uninsured and underinsured adults, 19 years of age and older, at 314 West Main Street in Walla Walla next Friday, May 11th from 1 PM and 4 PM.
Whooping Cough (Pertussis) causes a severe cough that can last for weeks to months in children and adults; however, infants, especially those less than a year of age; it can be a life-threatening disease.
Fourteen cases of Pertussis have been confirmed in Walla Walla County so far this year, most of those in March, April and May.
