Yakima School District Educators Honored

Educators in the Yakima School District are given a special honor today.
Five educators in the school district are chosen as recipients of the crystal apple award.
20 educators were nominated by their peers but only five were chosen as going above and beyond their job and touching the lives of their students and faculty members.
All are invited to a public ceremony honoring the recipients next monday at 4 pm at the yakima convention center.
