Budget woes are to blame for the closure of a Yakima Valley Clinic.
Yakima Memorial Hospital will be closing the doors for good to its Orthopaedic Specialists Practice.
The majority of the clinic's patients are covered by Medicare and Medicaid and the hospital says it wasn't getting reimbursed enough to continue the clinic.
" Current staff will have the opportunity to be considered for positions at Memorial Hospital and its family of services as the transition occurs." says President and CEO Greg Sawyer.
The clinics last day will be September 30th.
