Congressman Doc Hastings is speaking out on the so called "War on Women," which aims to capture the votes of women this November.
Hastings stopped by State Fair Park in Yakima this afternoon to see the results of millions of dollars in improvements to the buildings.
The political battle for women's votes is heating up, with Democrats accusing Republicans of attacking women's reproductive rights. The Republican incumbent, who's seeking another term in office, is downplaying the issue.
"This is an election year, there will be a lot of things that will be said, and I'm going to work to try to get to votes from everybody in my district," says Hastings.
Before arriving at State Fair Park in Yakima, Hastings toured a manufactured home plant in Sunnyside.
