Patriotism was on full display at the Fairgrounds in Kennewick on Saturday.
About 20 local singers auditioned to perform the National Anthem for events at this year's Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo. About 10-15 more auditions are slotted for Sunday. Fair officials have 16 spots to fill. The chosen singers will open Rodeo and Main Stage events at this years' Fair. They will perform in front of more than 5,000 people.

This year's Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo runs from August 21st through the 25th. The kick-off parade in Downtown Kennewick is scheduled for August 19th.
