Grandview Man Killed in Orchard Accident
A 57 year old Grandview man has been killed in an orchard accident.
The coroner has identified him as James Womach.
Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies say the man was spraying a cherry orchard last night on Ware Road.
They say the victim was operating a John Deere Tractor, and when he turned between a row of cherry trees he didn't see a low hanging branch. Officials say the branch pinned the man between it and the tractor. A passerby and the victim's employee found the man, who was already dead when medical crews arrived.
