Two Juveniles Arrested for Vehicle Prowl in Richland
Two juvenile boys, 16 and 17 years old, were arrested Monday morning for vehicle prowling.
According to the Richland Police Blog, the two boys were contacted by officers around 4:30 A.M. wearing dark clothes and carrying backpacks.
A search of one of the suspects turned up a wallet with credit cards and identification that were not related to the suspect.
There were reports of 8-10 different addresses that had reported prowls that morning in Richland and Kennewick, and there have been several reports of prowls in the area of Steptoe and Tapteal in the last few months.
The 17-year-old suspect had a warrant out for his arrest and was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center, while the 16-year-old was turned back over to his parents.
