Fire Burns 100 Acres In White Swan
A fire yesterday evening burns 100 acres in White Swan.
Firefighters say after 6 pm, workers at the King Mountain Tobacco Company cigarette plant had a burn pit behind the building.
Crews say because of high winds the fire spread to the neighboring area, burning through 100 acres.
The fire didn't cause any monetary damage and crews say the company is not being held responsible for the fire.
Crews remained on the scene until after 9 pm.
