Whooping Cough Vaccine Available to Vets
The VA Medical Center in Walla Walla will be offering free pertussis -- or whooping cough -- shots to veterans in the next couple of months.
Shots will first be offered in room 220 of the Richland Federal Building Tuesday June 26th between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M..
The second offering will be at the Walla Walla Armory from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on July 13th.
And the final chance for vets to get free shots will be on August 9th at the WorkSource in Kennewick during a stand down event.
Washington is going through a whooping cough epidemic, and experts said it has no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
