Repeat offender arrested again in Hermiston

A Hermiston man arrested previously 8 times is once again behind bars.
20-year-old Jesse Lopez was arrested Saturday night around 9 p.m. after he allegedly was involved in an incident where a firearm was displayed.
An investigation began, including a search for Lopez.
Lopez was located Sunday night in the area of the 200 block of East Beech Avenue. When officers contacted Lopez, he became verbally aggressive and resisted arrest. Lopez was eventually taken into custody with the assistance of the Oregon State Police and a Taser.
Lopez is charged with pointing a firearm at another, menacing and resisting arrest.
