The Yakima Heart Center announces a new partnership with a local hospital.
The heart center will now be partnering with Yakima Valley Memorial hospital.
For nearly 40 years the Yakima Heart Center has been an independent Cardiac Medical Group not affiliated with either local hospital in Yakima.
The medical director of the heart center says this a win for patients who services wont be affected because of the seamless transition.
"Same staff, same types of procedures and tests that they will do same clinic and staff and everything like that is going to be the same, the patients are gonna see that we are going to be able to continue here for the foreseeable future," says Dr Vielbig.
The heart center says patients will still be able to choose which hospital they prefer.
