State crews mobilize to fight fire near Othello
State fire crews are now assisting others in battling a brushfire still burning near Othello.
The fire, which started just before 2 p.m. yesterday, has destroyed about 1,200 acres of land.
About 100 firefighters are on scene with full containment expected by tomorrow morning.
No injuries have been reported and no structures are threatened.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
