Seasonal Farm Housing
Construction is underway for a new 3.5 million dollar seasonal farm housing complex in Granger.
Today the Yakima Housing Authority dedicated this new development that will provide housing to 76 farm workers and their families.
The new homes called "Cosecha Court" will consist of ten two bedroom units.
The housing authority says the Yakima Valley doesn't have many options for these workers who are crucial to the agriculture industry.
The project was funded by a combination of private and public funding and is expected to be completed by summer of next year.
