Jury Reaches Verdict In Looney Trial
A jury finds a man accused of killing another man in a drug deal gone bad not guilty of premeditated murder, but leaves the door open for Sebastian Looney to be re- tried for a different charge.
Today a jury found Looney not guilty of first degree murder, but the charges of robbery and felony murder were left blank.
Looney is accused of killing Gary Snell Jr in December of 2010.
The prosecution now has to decide if they want to retry Looney under a different charge.
The jury had been deliberating since yesterday morning.
