Update: SR 410 reopens after mud, snow slide
State Route 410 near milepost 72 reopened at 7:45 PM tonight after it was closed earlier today due to a mud and snow slide over the roadway.

State Route 410 near milepost 72 closed at 8:45 AM due to a mud and snow slide over the roadway.
Washington State Department of Transportation employees say slide removal and avalanche control work is in progress.
They say the roadway will remain closed until at least 8 PM tonight.
An assessment will then be made to determine if conditions are safe to open the roadway.
Milepost 72 is two miles east of the Chinook Pass summit.
