Blood Supplies Critically Low
The American Red Cross has a critical shortage of blood and is asking people, especially those with O- negative blood, to donate.
The western portion of the United States is facing a blood shortage.
The Red Cross says supplies were already low going into Memorial Day weekend and since then the need for blood has been high.
O-negative is the universal blood type, but all types are needed.
