UPDATE: Cop on Top Final Total Released

Cop on Top 2012

Yakima Police raised $3,858.13 at the 9th Annual Special Olympics "Cop on Top" event.

Lieutenant Mike Merryman spent 32 hours on the roof of Top Foods in Yakima on Thursday and Friday, raising money for Special Olympics.

Merryman says this year's amount is the third highest total ever collected for this event.
