Yakima River Safe for Gap to Gap
The Yakima River is safe enough for competitors in the Gap to Gap Relay race this weekend.
Organizers say the river may look smooth, but it is running high and quick, so those competing in the river leg of the relay race should be careful. Sheriff's deputies and search and rescue workers will be on hand in case of emergencies.
The Gap-to-Gap relay kicks off tomorrow morning.
