New City Manager Talks Issues with Yakima City Council
New city manager meets with Yakima city council
Yakima's new city manager is talking about the issues he will tackle when he starts his job.
Tony O'Rourke met with the city council for 40 minutes this morning. He suggested the city establish a five year financial plan, instead of planning the city budget for a year at a time.
O'Rourke also wants to develop a strategic plan and list of priorities based on results from an upcoming community survey of Yakima residnets.
O'Rourke will start his new job at city manager on July 2nd.
