Overlay Project In Yakima

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the intersection of 16th Avenue and Tieton Drive next week while a grind and overlay paving project is underway.

Beginning on Monday, July 30th, City of Yakima crews will be working at the intersection from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

Traffic will be restricted to one lane each way with left turns being limited or prohibited at times. Drivers should also expect delays of up to 20 minutes.

Work is expected to be completed by Thursday, August 9th.
