There are new details in last week's hit and run in Hermiston. Police are hoping the public can help them find the suspect.
Police are searching for the driver, who hit 60 year old Linda Lee Lerrossignol from Hermiston.
She was walking across the street on Highway 395 on Friday when according to police, a white pickup truck with a canopy hit her and took off.
We are learning from police that the suspect is described as a middle-age, white man.
The victim is in a Portland hospital, and is expected to survive.
She told police she remembers a woman yelling "I saw everything", and even helped direct traffic. Investigators want to speak with the witness.
