Oregon administrators revoke Umatilla teacher's license
A former English teacher in Umatilla has her teaching license revoked this month for having a sexual relationship with a student more than two years ago, according to state administrators.
According to the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, Kristle Vandever engaged in sexual activity with a male student and provided alcohol to students.
The investigation also found that some of the sexual activity was video recorded with a cell phone and shown to other students.
The commission states it gave Vandever an opportunity to have a hearing on the issue, but she did not request to have one.
