Phone scam targets Sunnyside residents

On Monday, a Sunnyside man reported to police that he received a call from another man stating he was from the U.S. Government Grants Office and that if the victim called back he could get $7,500.
The caller said all the victim had to do was give them his bank account number or his Master Card number or go to a Wells Fargo bank.
The victim did not give out his information and called police.
