Shahram Hadian Speaks To Yakima Valley Residents
A Republican candidate for Governor visits Yakima Valley today.
Republican candidate Shahram Hadian stopped by 2nd street park in Yakima this afternoon to rally supporters and remind them to vote.
The park was the first stop of three, with the other two being fundraising events held at Terrace Heights Civic Center and Wilkinson estate.
As a former cop, Hadian says a primary step in solving the gang problem in Yakima County starts with eliminating policies set around illegal immigration.
"We need to strike down sanctuary policies, so that law enforcement, both locally and federal, can do their job in enforcing immigration and going after the traffickers. Because 50% of the prison population across the state are gang members," says Hadian
Hadian will be competing against Rob McKenna for Republican representative in the primary elections on August 7th.
