Winery Hosts Open House
Some Yakima valley residents get a little taste of what it takes to be a winemaker.
The Tanjuli Winery in Zillah offers Yakima Valley residents the opportunity to discuss how wine is made, along with different tasting methods.
In addition, guests can pay to try samples of the wineries two newest wines.
One guest says she enjoyed sitting down and talking with the people who produce the wine she drinks.
"It was very informative, great wines, a lot of different bodies and textures," says Sarah Beymer.
"People can come here and see where the grapes come from, know that the grapes are only a few yards away from being processed and aged, and taste the final product," says winery owner Tom Campbell.
The Tanjuli Winery will continue its open house through tomorrow.
